Miss Shiva, a DJ and producer, has left an indelible mark on the electronic music scene. Let’s delve into her fascinating journey:Early Years and Discovery: Miss Shiva’s passion for movement and freedom led her on an extensive European travel adventure in 1991. Fate brought her to Frankfurt, a city at the forefront of the emerging techno music era. Inspired by the legendary scenes at Sven Väth’s Omen club, she embarked on her own DJ career three years later.Techno & Trance-Infused Sound: Miss Shiva discovered her preference for a Trance-infected sound that resonated with her temperament. Trance, a genre characterized by perpetual motion—rhythmically, melodically, and harmonically—became her musical canvas.Global Success: After residencies in local clubs, Miss Shiva took her talent worldwide. She graced the decks at major clubs and iconic events, including HR3 Clubnight, Love Parade Germany, and venues in Miami, Ibiza, Malta, and England. Her 12" EP “Dreams 2002,” featuring remixes by Cosmic Gate and Humate, even climbed to the Top 20 of the British sales charts.Techno Award: In 2001, during the “Overload” spectacular at Vienna’s Kunsthalle, Miss Shiva received the coveted Techno Award for the best DJane of the year 2000.
